We closed the Village Hall events out in 2018 with the Brigadoon themed Christmas Bazaar (well done to all who dressed to impress with their tartan on display!), which was very well attended and had a wonderful atmosphere with everyone thoroughly enjoying themselves. There were some wonderful items for sale, alongside a plethora of tasty cakes, biscuits, mince pies and mulled wine.

The tombola ran out of prizes and the raffle was equally well supported. In total, we raised over £700 at the event, which goes down in the record books as our best ever. A huge thank you to all contributors, helpers and of course those who attended and spent their hard earned cash. We really thank you for your support to help keep our little hall in tip-top condition.

Thank you also, to those who supported the Combe Florey Christmas Cards this year. They sold in their hundreds, raising a total of over £200! Not bad considering this is the first time we’ve tried anything like this. We are considering making this a bi-annual event, so please let us know your thoughts on the matter.
